The largest environmental exhibition in Asia, "2023 NEW Environmental Exhibition/Global Warming Prevention Exhibition", will take place at the East Hall of Tokyo Big Sight's (Tokyo International Exhibition Center) from the 24th of May (Wednesday) to the 26th of May (Fri). Even with COVID-19 measures, the previous exhibition of 2022 was a huge success. It had 462 exhibitors, 1,548 booths, and 67,402 visitors during the exhibition.
The SDGs, which were set out by the United Nations on September 2015, include the goal of achieving cooperation between the public and the private sector in order to address environmental pollution and global heating issues. The "2023 NEW Environmental Exhibition/Global Warming Prevention Exhibition", which will be held this year, will feature 1,700 booths indoors and 150 booths outdoors.
The NEW Environmental Exhibition (Nexo) is celebrating its 32nd anniversary this year. It began in 1992 as the Waste Management and Public Cleaning Exhibition under the theme "Development of Environmental Business".
