Anyone who has attended the Weekend Course and has basic knowledge about equine anatomy, as well as experience with horses, is eligible to attend this advanced course. This is the main course for the Certification Program.
Attend a weekend course and complete the Beyond Horse Massage home study course.
The Beyond Horse Massage Home Study Course provides a self-guided online course for guided study and structured application of the techniques learned during the Beyond Horse Massage Weekend Course. This online course requires that you have read and own the Beyond Horse Massage Book. The Beyond Horse Massage DVD/Streaming Option is also recommended.
The Advanced 5-Day Course is a practical, advanced course open to anyone who has experience with horses and basic knowledge of equine anatomy, and is interested in improving relationships, communication, and performance. This is the main course for the Certification Program.
Order the Whole Horse Series: 14 Sessions and watch Jim Masterson work on the horses of his clients at the Winter Equestrian Festival Horse Show. You can see Jim Masterson using the Masterson Method (r) on various horses by following him into the stalls. The Whole Horse videos consist of bodywork performed on show horses. During each session, evaluations and Masterson Method Techniques were used. These videos are not meant to be used as instructional videos. Instead, they provide a "birds-eye view" of Jim's work on different horses. Jim's work on horses can provide valuable insight into timing, softness and feel.
