The Soulful Chicago Book Fairs ARE the most exciting bookfairs in the world! These are celebrations that celebrate the literary and literacy arts of the African Diaspora in Chicago.
We are proud to offer hundreds of writers, poets and even composers an opportunity to share their unique perspective with millions of literary lovers across the city.
The Soulful Chicago Book Fairs are designed to give voice to those creators that are usually overlooked by standard venues. The fairs are helping to expand the literary market for Black authors and exposing Black literature lovers to new titles. These fairs recreate literary excitement and propel the new Black Literary Renaissance.
