45th Dies NatalisMaastricht University would have loved to mark its 45th Anniversary with a traditional Dies Natalis at the St. Janskerk on 29 January 2021. These plans were drastically altered due to the prolonged lockdown.All other awards and honours were moved from the Opening Academic Year to Monday 30 August 2020. Student Prizes 2021The best bachelor's and master's theses are awarded every year during the Dies Natalis celebrations in January. As a token from our Rector Majestus, they receive 500 euros, a gift and a certificate. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has forced us to change our plans for the 45th Dies Natalis of Maastricht University.
