The WHO European Healthy Cities Network, in celebration of its 75th Anniversary, is pleased to invite abstracts for its Annual Business and Technical Conference, scheduled for 21-23 Nov 2023 at Utrecht (Kingdom of the Netherlands).
The theme of the 2023 conference in person is "Health and Well-being for All: Celebrating 35 Years of the Healthy Cities Movement".
In 1988, the WHO European Healthy Cities Network (EHCR) was established as a cross-cutting initiative. It collaborates directly with cities in the WHO European Region. The Network's Conference is held every year to showcase its excellence and impact in the Region.
The Conference brings together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to foster discussion about important public health issues. It also encourages the exchange of ideas, perspectives, and methods. By fostering these exchanges, the Conference contributes to ongoing discussions on creating healthier and more equitable cities.
Abstracts for this year's Conference must relate to one of the six subthemes listed below.
The deadline to submit abstracts is 15 July 2023. The Scientific Committee of WHO European Healthy Cities Network will inform applicants whether their abstracts have been accepted or not by September 2023.
