Visit the Faroe Islands' largest industrial exhibition which will take place in Klaksvik - the vibrant, industrious and lively fishing capital of North Atlantic - 28-30 MAY 2024.
Every other year, "Atlantic Fair – International Maritime Exhibition” is held. The May 2022 expo was a great success, with 195 exhibitors and 4,500 attendees over three days.
The purpose of the expo is to showcase maritime products and services, and highlight current developments in this field.
The North Atlantic societies depend on the sea, its resources and the natural environment.
The Faroe Islands experienced a significant increase in population over the last two decades. The population of the Faroe Islands has grown from 45,000 in the early 2000s to 54,000 today. A network of tunnels and bridges connects 90% of the city's population, opening up new possibilities.
In recent years, several modern fishing vessels have been added to the maritime fleet, and the island's modern industry plays a central role in the global drive towards internationalization.
