Our event is called "Made In Hawaii", but it represents more than just our island values. It also represents the "aloha" our merchants add to their products, making them truly Hawaiian, unique and innovative. All applicants are not accepted.
To participate -"..., at least 51 percent of the wholesale price of the consumer product must be added in the state by manufacturing, processing or production.".
Since the first show in 1995 the state law "Made in Hawaii", combined with the strict screening of our vendors, has protected and strengthened the integrity and reputation for the products. This requirement is unique and sets the show apart. It has also increased consumer support, as they know that buying Hawaii for Hawaii and supporting it will be an investment in Hawaii’s future.
