Maximising efficiency by innovation and knowledge-sharingThe 38th CRU Nitrogen + Syngas Conference will take place in Barcelona, Spain from 10-12 February 2025. The conference and exhibition is the most respected event in the global nitrogen community. It provides a platform for technical professionals to network, conduct business, and learn the latest developments. This annual meeting brings together a global audience of producers and licensors, as well as materials and equipment suppliers from all over the world. It is a unique opportunity to network and share knowledge with peers.
Highlights of the 2024 event included a record number of technical papers, 107 speakers, 140+ operators and 580+ peers from 45 different countries. There were also 80+ exhibitors. A new workshop was also added to the agenda, dedicated to low-carbon projects. Experts shared their challenges and lessons learned from sustainable projects. Here you can find the industry-leading 2024 technical agenda, which included three content tracks and a total of 83 papers that showcased the latest technologies, processes, materials, and equipment innovations driving operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainability for nitrogen and synthgas producers.
The focus of the conference was on energy efficiency, low-emission technologies, blue and green ammonia production, hydrogen production and methanol. There were also sessions dedicated to digital tools, process design, production monitoring, operator training, and plant monitoring.
