Excavators have already started rolling. The symbolic construction start was celebrated by the Tuttlingen District Chief Executive Stefan Bar, Tuttlingen Mayor Michael Beck, Neuhausen Mayor Marina Jung, Managing Director Heike Reitze from the take-off industrial park, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg Thomas Butsch, KARL STORZ CEO Karl-Christian Storz, and KARL STORZ Construction Projects Manager Irina Stock. The KARL STORZ extension in Neuhausen, Germany enters its next phase.KARL STORZ has begun construction on the new buildings, TO 85 and 87. The expansion of the Tuttlingen location shows our commitment to this region. We are investing in modern workplaces that will benefit our employees. We are currently operating at full capacity due to our continued international growth and increased demand. This triple-digit-million euro construction project represents our largest investment ever."We are committed to making our products more efficient and being able deliver them instantly to our partners around the globe", said CEO Karl-Christian Storz at the groundbreaking ceremony.Harmonious integrationSustainability will be a major consideration in the construction of these two ultramodern production buildings. They will be equipped with large-scale photovoltaics and energy-efficient insulation. The construction of the new building will be a major undertaking.
