STM is inviting you to our first-ever Start-up Fair on December 6 in London, where the newest innovators present their cutting-edge solutions for STM publishing and scholarly communications — and you'll have front-row seats with VIP access. In collaboration with Karger’s Vesalius Innovation Award (VIA).
Scholarly communication is undergoing a major reimagining. To drive change, long-standing organisations partner with innovative start-ups. This allows them to use technology to advance trust research and leverage technology. To detect integrity issues early, identify the top experts and peer reviewers and automate knowledge extraction so you can intelligently navigate large literature.
These changemakers are championed by STM's Start-Up Day. We will gather a wide range of start-ups and entrepreneurs who are fostering innovation in scholarly communication on December 6, as part of STM Week at the Congress Centre, London. Below is a list of approximately 25 startups that participated in the event.

The Vesalius Innovation Award, sponsored by Molecular Connections and STM by Karger Publishers, is a prestigious award.
This year's live ceremony will be its third. This award is given to a groundbreaking start-up that provides solutions to the knowledge circle in health sciences publishing. At the end of the fair, the Jury Verdict will become public. A second award ceremony will take place -- the STM Start-up Fair Audience Popularity Award -- in which the audience votes to determine the winner.
