Rescue, emergency care, and prevention specialists all share the same goal: to save and protect lives. It is difficult to imagine a greater unifying motive, but until 2015 no other event brought all these professionals together.

The CFRC, a member of European Resuscitation Council(ERC), has as its goal to educate the public and rescue professionals about the importance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the event of cardiac arrest. It also trains first aiders and caregivers.
