The homepage describes an annual convention in Boston celebrating anthropomorphic creativity, with panels and events, concerts, a huge vendor hall, and more. It also states the convention is supported by staff and volunteers and is committed to bettering the community through supporting charities.

Venue page: Anthro New England is proud to make its home in Boston’s vibrant Seaport district. The venue is split between two main hotels, the Westin Boston Seaport District Hotel and the Omni Boston at the Seaport Hotel. April 18, 2026 venue-space announcement: for 2027 the convention is expanding to a two-hotel convention, partnering with Omni Boston at the Seaport as the second main hotel alongside the Westin Boston Seaport District. Vendor Hall, Art Show, large panel rooms, headless lounge spaces, and a Zoo at the Omni. Registration moving to the Westin Galleria Ballroom. Zoo returning at the Westin’s Commonwealth Ballroom. Hotels are directly across Summer Street from one another.

Venue page hotel-block banner (at verification): The main hotel blocks are OPEN. The Omni still has availability. While the Westin is sold out, rooms may become available as attendees adjust travel plans. Room blocks for overflow hotels (Aloft and Element) will be announced at a later date. The Omni is stated as still available from Friday 1/15 through Sunday 1/17. Some leftover “Not Yet Open” widgets remain on the same venue page.

Registration is OPEN for Anthro New England 2027. Three registration periods: Pre-Sale August 1–August 31; Early-Bird September 1–November 30; Standard December 1–January 17. Super-Sponsor, Patron and Donor tiers are Pre-Sale/Early-Bird only and will no longer be sold after Early-Bird ends. Patron and Donor were listed as Sold Out on the registration page at verification.

Listed attendee weekend prices: Attendee “The Sleepwalker” Pre-Sale $85 / Early-Bird $90 / Standard $95. Sponsor “The Day Dreamer” $165 / $170 / $175. Super-Sponsor “The Pillow Fighter” Pre-Sale $245 / Early-Bird $255. Patron “The All Nighter” Pre-Sale $525 / Early-Bird $535 (limited to 75 slots). Donor “The Dream-Weaver” $1000 (limited to 5 slots). Day passes: Friday $65, Saturday $65, Sunday $55 (available online only on the day desired). Minor attendee “The Snuggle Bug”: ages 11-17 $60; ages 0-10 FREE; includes two free parent/guardian registrations; additional minors ages 11-17 $35 each (full weekend passes only). Age is as of the first day of ANE 2027.

Masks are required ONLY within the Vendor Hall and Art Show.

Founded in 2014; inaugural convention held in 2015 in Cambridge. Stated as currently one of the 10th largest furry conventions in the world. Mission: raise funds and increase awareness for local charities that serve people and animals in need while providing a fun, safe event for anthropomorphic fans to meet and enjoy art, performance, music, and literature.
