Since its founding in 1957, it has provided quality educational programs to enhance the development of law-enforcement leaders at all levels. The School of Executive Leadership, formerly Management College, has been the "flagship program" for law enforcement agencies across the country. The School of Executive Leadership's value is best reflected in the number of graduates that hold leadership positions within law enforcement organizations.
This is an eight-week intensive program that prepares senior law enforcement managers and administrators to lead in the complex worlds of public executives. Academic experience prepares participants to:.

This course is designed for supervisors in the second and third line (normally at the rank of lieutenant or above). Attendees must meet at least one of the criteria below:.
If a registrant does not meet the requirements above, he or she will receive special consideration with a command-level recommendation.
The Texas Commission on Law Enforcement will grant 240 credit hours to law enforcement personnel who attend this course. Participants from other states are often surprised to find that Texas has a training agreement with their state.
