What to expect
SCC EVENTS hosts the Sport Community Convention two times a year. The first time is during the GENERALI BERLIN HALF MARATHON, which takes place in the spring, and the second time is during the BMW BERLIN MARATHON, which takes place in the fall.It is an annual event that attracts sponsors, runners, sports enthusiasts, and more than 100 exhibitors (spring/fall).
The former Airport Tempelhof has been used for different events since 2009, with an impressive number of visitors and events. Since 2009, the building ensemble has been used for a variety of events - with a large number of visitors and events. In Europe's biggest monument, trade fairs, concerts, sports events, and product presentations are also held.In 2012, there were already more than 1,000 event organizers. There were also 200 other interested parties who wanted to do a photo- and video shoot. In 2012, over 60 events with a total of more than 500,000 visitors were held.Since October 2015, some hangars and parts of the apron have been used for temporary emergency refugee housing. They are no longer available to rent for events. The main hall is the center of the location and can be used for events, photography, video shooting, etc.
