The Frederick Running Festival, tucked away in suburban Washington, D.C., is a hidden gem for the running community. Four races are part of the festival, and they all end at Frederick Fairgrounds. The race is a small-town charmed big-time race, with an added bonus of packet pickup in the Maryland suburbs. You can choose between the half-marathon on Sunday and a two-person relay team or the 5K on Saturday and Kids Fun Run.
