The fair was created by TEDCO to bring together entrepreneurs and small-business owners from all industries, including Maryland's underserved areas to technology companies and to provide them with resources, trainings and networking opportunities that will help them grow their businesses. Ben Cardin, the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business & Entrepreneurship Chair, will give a keynote speech. John F. Fleming (mid-Atlantic regional administrator, U.S. Small Business Administration) will talk about the SBA as well as the resources available to small businesses in this region. Troy LeMaile-Stovall, CEO of TEDCO, will host the Tech Fair.
For small businesses that want to expand their reach and increase sales, they can meet with established tech companies like Meta, Square, Microsoft and Amazon Web Services. They will provide information about sales and advertising techniques, trainings and cloud services. The free fair is open to women and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, as well as business owners, who have traditionally been overlooked by the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
These companies, events, programs, and resources are provided as a courtesy in order to assist you with the many business support services available to Maryland entrepreneurs.
