[May 2, 2020] Mepsgen Co., Ltd., (CEO Kim Yong Tae, also referred to herein as Mepsgen), announced on May 2 that it would attend 'BIO KOREA 2024" held at COEX, Seoul, from the 8th through the 10th.MepsGen can mass produce microphysiological systems, such as extracorporeal organs (such as biological tissue chip and organoids), that accurately mimic the structure and functions of cells within major human organs. It is also capable of producing various types of nanodrug delivery systems. It is a biotech company that develops systems to deliver nano-drugs.MEPSGen will be presenting ProMEPS at this event for the very first time. This long-term tissue automation equipment was developed by MEPSGen and released for the world's first time in November of last year. ProMeps automates the tissue barrier culture process including cell injection, culture and perfusion for the 3D tissue chip model. It also measures the quality in real-time. Promeps allows you to quickly and efficiently create high-quality organ models that are highly reproducible.MEPSGen will launch a new "organoid" chip, following the existing biotissue chip, to use ProMEPS better. MEPSGen plans to launch a new 'organoid' chip to follow the existing biological tissue chip to utilize ProMEPS more effectively.
