Green World Tour Dusseldorf will be postponed.Our sustainability fair cannot be approved by the city of DusseldorfUnfortunately, the Green World Tour trade fair for sustainability in Dusseldorf has been cancelled. We have been discussing a suitable venue with the authorities since the beginning the year. However, due to the time constraint, the city administration does not see any possibility for the trade show on June 18th and 19. Michael Lulf is the managing director of Autarkia GmbH which organizes trade fairs. He says, "It's with a heavy-hearted heart that we have to cancel the Green World Tour at Dusseldorf." "What happened in Dusseldorf was unique to us in Germany." Since 2017, we have not had to cancel any Green World Tour fairs because the authorities responsible did not give approval on time.Dusseldorf cancelled several locations requested for the Green World Tour. We were therefore happy to have located a private location, the Ando Campus in Mercedesstrasse 11, and submitted an application for approval in may. We had been in discussions with the city over several months, and we had organized a Green World Tour for Dusseldorf back in December 2019. However, the administration claimed that there wasn't enough time to process the permit and issue it on time. Michael Lulf, Autarkia's CEO, says: "We regret this." "We would like to inform Dusseldorf's citizens about environmental protection and sustainability in everyday life. We even offered recently the administration that we could reduce the number of people on site or commission a report about the location of the event and existing security measures at our own expense. Unfortunately, in vain.More than 50 exhibitors will be present in Dusseldorf to provide information on natural cosmetics, electric vehicles, cargo bikes, fashion, plastic-free products, green electricity, organic food, and more.
