India's space industry has grown tremendously in the last decade. ISRO's efforts have made a remarkable difference in our space programme.
The space sector has also undergone a significant transformation in India with the deregulation and opening up of the Space Sector for the private sector.
Confederation of Indian Industry, in conjunction with Indian Space Research Organization, has been organizing the Bengaluru Space Expo, a biennial International Exhibition and Conference since 2008.
The 8th edition of BSX, organized in association with ISRO and the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre, (IN-SPACE), and NewSpace India Limited, (NSIL), is scheduled to begin in September 2024 in Bengaluru. The Exhibition will have participants from over 100 companies/organisations from around 15 countries, showcasing advanced technologies and products for the space sector, in an exclusive hall.
ISRO, in conjunction with its Centres across India, will set up a large pavilion at the exhibition in order to showcase India's achievements within the space sector, and the future business opportunities that exist for the private sector. During the three-day event at BSX2024, officials from ISRO Centres in India will be available to discuss future business opportunities with ISRO.
