Pittsburgh's airport is an excellent facility and easily accessible.Nearly 1,200 coal mining professionals are registered to attend the U.S. Coal Show in 2023. This includes 350 mining delegates, from companies such as Allegheny Metallurgical (Alternative Resource Partners), American Consolidated Natural Resources(ACNR), Arch Resources Blue Mountain Energy CONSOL Energy Coronado Global Resources Corsa Coal Iron Senergy Prairie State Generating Co. Wolverine Fuels and Warrior Met.In 2023, 65 suppliers occupied 18,900 sq ft to showcase the latest technology and equipment for coal mining. The manufacturers brought in more equipment, including five shields and two shield haulers. They also brought a locomotive, mantrips, and a number of other ancillary items.The U.S. Coal Show in 2025 will be held midweek on June 3-5. Pittsburgh is at its best during the summer.
