Florida Folk Festival. The 72nd Annual Florida Folk Festival is scheduled to take place Memorial Day Weekend, May 24 - 26, 2024 at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park, White Springs.
This festival celebrates the unique music, dance, food, crafts, and stories that are Florida.
From Irish fiddle tunes, contra dancing and root beer floats to the wide varieties of music of immigrants, the state's cultural heritage reflects the lives of generations of Florida families and communities.
Over 300 performances are planned to celebrate Florida's rich heritage during the Memorial Day Weekend.
The Florida Folklife Program of the Florida Department of State researches an annual topic about Florida's rich traditional heritage. The theme of the 2024 festival Folklife Area is "Earth."
Folklife Area of the festival will host performances and demonstrations that celebrate Florida's diverse living traditions. Visit the Folklife Area and experience the captivating traditions, and enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of some of Florida’s oldest and most recent cultural communities.
