10 buyers from Europe and the US, as well as Mainland China, placed orders totaling US$1,000,000 for our emeralds. Our onsite orders at the show are expected to total US$3,000,000. The show was great!
Our fancy colour diamonds have been ordered by 12 buyers, including 6 from Mainland China. The orders total US$11-12 Million. One of these orders included a large blue diamond valued at US$8,000,000 purchased by Mainland China. We are optimistic about the prospects of the business in the months to come.
We regularly visit the Hong Kong twin jewellery shows in March to find new suppliers. We identified seven possible suppliers at this year's show from Hong Kong. Italy, Thailand, and Turkey. Next year, we will definitely return to the Hong Kong show.
Kyra Diamonds was founded in 1999 and is a jewellery retailer and manufacturer in the UAE. The Middle East is our main market. The Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show is one I've visited many times. This year, I'm looking for new loose diamond suppliers as well as socially and environmentally responsible suppliers. I've already placed orders totaling US$14,000 with two Hong Kong suppliers. During the show, I will place more orders totaling US$50,000. I am here because the Hong Kong Show brings together suppliers around the globe under one roof, making it easier to make my selection.
