The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic presented unexpected challenges to the catering and events industry, threatening livelihoods all over the globe. Large gatherings came to an abrupt halt due to cancellations of events, stay-at-home orders and safety measures. But, event and catering professionals are capable of surviving any situation.

Our community's talented members have gained so much from the extremely difficult times in the past year. We are not looking back. We are now looking forward to brighter days with renewed strategies, new innovations, increased inclusion, and, of course, healthier and more sustainable ways of running events.
