Die Internationale Briefmarken-Messe ist die alteste Fachmesse der Welt! Seit 1976 findet sie in der Messe Essen statt - zunachst im Zwei-Jahres-Rhythmus, seit 2006 jahrlich. Im Fruhjahr treffen sich hier stets uber 100 Fachhandler, Auktionatoren, Zubehorhersteller und Verlage sowie Postverwaltungen oder deren Agenturen aus der ganzen Welt, um dem Publikum aus dem In- und Ausland ihre Waren anzubieten. Ein attraktives Rahmen-Programm und viele kostenlose Serviceleistungen (z. B. Prufungen) machen die Veranstaltung zu einem Pflichttermin fur Briefmarkensammler.
