It has been identified by the "Make in India Campaign" as one of the most important sectors.

DELHIWOOD is a plan to promote Indian furniture manufacturing and woodworking and make India a top manufacturing destination in the region. The 7th edition DELHIWOOD will be held at India Expo Mart in Greater Noida (DELHI/NCR) from 2-5 March 2023. It will offer stakeholders from the furniture and woodworking industries the opportunity to meet with national and international decision-makers and acquire new customers. They will also discuss key issues such as Digitalization, sustainability, and supply chain management.
