The 28th Annual Lakeland Pigfest is returning to the SUN n’ FUN Expo Campus, Lakeland, Florida on the 24th and 25th of January 2025.
Since its humble beginnings, in 1997, this event has donated over one million dollars to local charities. As excited as we, our local non-profits who host the event are also looking forward to continuing to grow Florida's Preeminent BBQ Contest.
The 28th Annual Lakeland Pigfest will kick off with the Lakeland Pigfest board of directors and over 150 barbecue competition teams. Enjoy a weekend of good food, good music, and good friends while supporting local charities.
The admission to Lakeland Pigfest costs only $5, and children 12 and under are admitted free. You won't spend much on the good food, and it's well worth it. Pig Bucks are the official currency for the Lakeland Pigfest. You can exchange your cash at a Pig Bucks Booth (located near entrances and in various places throughout the festival). You can support local charities and the competition teams by purchasing food from them.
