The rest is history. In 1990, Dave DeWitt and his wife, Mary Jane Wilan, formed Sunbelt Shows, Inc., to produce the show, while Mary Jane assumed responsibility for the sale of exhibitor booth spaces. She was a huge success despite initial skepticism by potential exhibitors.
