Author Application - Kentucky Book Festival

June 1 - July 20,23: Authors will be notified via email or mail. July 15, 2023 - Deadline to confirm participation for authors invited. October 21, 2023 - Kentucky Book Festival, Joseph-Beth Booksellers.

Information about the author and book is included in promotional materials. The book festival catalogue includes a list of participating authors and a brief description. The author and/or the book photo may also be promoted via social media, or on festival-related signage.

If the author is chosen to appear on stage, we need their direct contact details. The contact information of all authors is kept confidential and not shared with third parties.

Please do not submit paper forms. Please fill out the application form. It is recommended that you submit the form using a browser such as Google Chrome or Firefox. Please email the director if you have any problems submitting the form. As most communication from the book festival is sent by email, you must have an email account.

Click the "Select Files" button to upload your photos. The file name will appear below the gray bar once the file is uploaded. Click "Delete" to remove the incorrect file and upload another. If you still have problems, make sure to check the size and format of the file. PDF files are not recommended. Upload a.jpg or.jpeg image. Your file may appear grainy on our site if it is less than 700 pixels wide. If you need to submit more than one photo, please send as an email attachment to [email protected].
