The Illinois Professional Responsibility MCLE marathon 2024, organized by PLI, is designed to assist experienced Illinois attorneys in meeting their MCLE requirements. It includes four hours of professional responsibility and diversity and inclusion, as well as one hour each of mental health and substance abuse. The program will discuss best practices, new and emerging ethical and professionalism issues.

If your last names begins with A-M and you have not been admitted recently, the deadline to complete your reporting period is June 30, 2024. You must then have completed thirty hours of MCLE credits, which includes at least six approved hours for professional responsibility. This should include one credit for diversity/inclusion, one credit for mental health/substance use, and at least one credit for professional responsibility. You can start your MCLE credit requirements for the next deadline, June 30, 2025, if your last name starts with letters N to Z. Illinois attorneys can check their requirements by visiting the Illinois MCLE Board website at www.mcleboard.org.

Earn 4 hours in Professional Responsibility, 1 hour Diversity and Inclusion, and 1 Hour Mental Health and Substance Use credit.
