The MNO conference aims to provide an overview of recent advancements and challenges in the design and development of metallic nano-objects, and their application. MNO2023 is being held this year at the University of Technology of Troyes in France from 19th to 21st September.

The event usually attracts around 100 academics and industry representatives from national and international institutions. We are committed, edition after edition to keeping registration fees low for all academics in order to encourage as many students to attend the event.

The workshop will feature all oral presentations in one amphitheater. This limits the number available but encourages interaction between participants. Eight invited speakers are going to give tutorials and overviews on their most recent research in their respective fields. During the poster session and breaks, participants will be able to ask questions about their research. They can also get to know each other during the social event that is organized in the evening.

The MNO Workshop is being held in conjunction with a NANO-PHOT Graduate School late summer school on Monday, 18th September. The main scientific theme is "Nanophotonics and Sustainable Development". The School aims to bring together young scientists and students in photonics who are interested in studying light at nanoscale. They also have a concern for sustainability.
