We are thrilled to have you all join us at the ASEE Annual Conference, in Portland, Oregon. This year we expect a strong turnout from around the country and the globe, as well as a fantastic program of papers and posters. This year we have expanded the exhibit hall, as it is an important attraction for attendees. We thank the ASEE Conferences staff and IT team for all their hard work in making this year's event a success.

The Annual Conference is ASEE's largest annual gathering. The conference is the best way for many attendees to showcase their work and share it with others. The conference offers many opportunities to learn and share, whether it is in a formal session or chatting with friends. We recognize that it is a privilege to be able to establish, maintain, and build relationships face-to-face.

I would like to encourage you to make the most of this year's Conference. You can try a new division or group, like a council, zone, section, or committee. Attend the plenary session and perhaps one of the numerous panels on various topics. Consider arriving in Portland early to participate in the Sunday student poster session or one of the workshops. Attending a business meeting will help you to become more involved in your division. This could be your year for leadership! Don't forget to attend the Society events and social activities, as well as the great exhibitor in the exhibit area, where you can expand your ASEE network.
