Are you ready to shuck some oysters? What do you think of 45,000 pounds worth of oysters? Lowcountry Oyster Festival, the largest oyster festival in the world! This event is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sunday, February 4, 2020 at Boone Hall Plantation. Highlights include live entertainment on the mainstage, oyster shucking and eating contests, wine and a variety domestic and imported beers. There is also a Children's Area, and a Food Court showcasing local favorites restaurants.

The Charleston Restaurant Foundation's (CRF) goal is to support charitable works of the Lowcountry Hospitality Association which covers the geographic area of Charleston, South Carolina. The foundation's main goal is to support its member restaurants, by giving them the resources needed so that their customers can enjoy and celebrate Lowcountry food. CRF's annual fundraising events allow it to give back generously to the community who has supported its members. The CRF has donated over one million dollars ($1,000,000.00) to local charities.

Event rain or shine Please, no pets, coolers, or outside food and beverage. The event will sell oyster knives and gloves.
