Alessandro Onorato is the city councillor responsible for tourism, fashion, sports, and major events. He says that Rome will be swarming with tourists during the summer of 2018.

Onorato, an Italian journalist told Italian news agency AGI that "culture has always been Rome's asset" and "we are enhancing Rome's extraordinary architectural and monumental heritage. But we also want to combine this with the potential for large-scale events at iconic locations in Rome.".
