Clemens Makal, Austrian Trade Commissioner Almaty, said, "We want to put the success stories of Austrian businesses, which are often not known, on the red carpet, and in the spotlight". Austrian success stories in five Central Asian nations Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan Tajikistan Turkmenistan Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are meant to encourage Austrian companies focus on this growing region. The best way to get started is by participating in a trade missions. Applications will be accepted up until December 31, 2022. Clemens Makal encourages Austrian companies to participate in the Silk Road Biz Award 2020. Applications can be submitted until December 31st , 2022 using an informal e-mail as an "application pitch" to ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Almaty at [email protected]. Clemens Makal says that to be considered for nomination, a success story must be outstanding, innovative, and spectacular. This year's Silk Road Biz Awards 2022 winners came from Tyrol, and Vienna.
