The BWPA, formerly known as British Wood Pulp Association, represents pulp producers around the globe who export pulp to the UK or Europe. The BWPA aims to promote industry interests by bringing together suppliers and customers at two major events: London Pulp Week Dinner and Symposium and Summer Symposium. Margherita Micali will join the Confederation of European Paper Industries in 2021. She worked previously as an EU Public Affairs Officer for various organisations in the forest-based industries sector. She is currently Forest Policy Manager and focuses on advocating for forest policies that are related to climate, environment and energy. .
