The 16th World Elevator & Escalator Exposition, sponsored by China Elevator Association and China Center for International Economic and Technological Exchange (Shanghai), will take place at the National Convention and Exhibition Center from 8-11 May 2024. The area of the exhibition will be 110,000 square metres, and 1,100 exhibitors as well as 120,000 professionals are expected to attend. According to the most recent data, China's elevators (including household lifts) have exceeded 10,000,000. This represents an increase of 9.6% on a year-over-year basis. Market size is approximately 508.9 billion Yuan. The elevator industry is expected to maintain double-digit growth over the next five year period, while the demand for replacement stock will grow rapidly. By 2027, it is estimated that the Chinese elevator industry will reach 709 billion Yuan with a compound growth rate of 6.7%.
