The West African Clean Energy & Environment Conference (WACEE), which was founded in 2012, has grown to be the largest renewable energy and environmental trade fair in West Africa.

WACEE'24, themed "Sustainability showcase: Stimulating green economy investments" will highlight that organizations, institutions and the community as a whole must transition to a sustainable form of production, consumption, and mitigation of climate changes, including what this means for various actors and the challenges and opportunities it presents to the West African Region.

The focus of the conference and exhibition is to bring together key policymakers and stakeholders through presentations, workshops, etc. Dialogue on the key developments in industry, as well as opportunities and challenges, within the sectors of focus.

West African Clean Energy and Environment, with a focus of clean energy, will serve as a forum for stakeholders including policymakers, industry leaders to come together and address the pressing challenges and opportunity in the clean-energy space.

The WACEE this year, with its strong focus on the circular economy principles, hopes to bring together diverse stakeholders in order to explore and discuss innovative strategies for sustainable resource management and waste minimization within the West African Sub Region.
