The Fire Marshal has limited the capacity of all event and program rooms. Your badge is required to gain entry to all events. However, it doesn't guarantee that you will be allowed to access any event if it exceeds its capacity. Clearance rooms are not allowed between events. Signings of autographs are usually limited in scope. A badge does not guarantee autographs at any given event.

The SAN DIEGO COMIC COUNTER (Comic-Con International), a California Nonprofit Public benefit Corporation, was established for charitable purposes. It is dedicated to increasing public awareness and appreciation of comics and related art forms. This includes participation in and support for public presentations, conventions and museums, as well as public outreach activities that celebrate the ongoing and historic contributions of comics to art, culture, and art.
