IHG Expo - Cancellation of the face-to-face event. IHG Expo is back, and it's better than ever! What are you expecting? What should you expect? What should you expect?

After much discussion and deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel 2022 IHG Expo at the Gold Coast.

When safety and well-being are our top priority, we cannot encourage key stakeholders to attend large-scale face-to-face events.

We would love nothing more than for our event to provide you with the networking and growth opportunities you desire. While there were always risks associated with large groups and travel, we had a robust Covid plan and were confident that we could keep everyone safe. As it stands now, Omicron has emerged, there is a greater movement of people and more cases in each state. The benefit of attending our event outweighs the risk of being exposed to Covid.

Although we plan to continue with the virtual event in 2022, which will include the Deal Book, Business Session and Supplier/Member interaction, the dates could change to allow us to reengineer.

We will be back in January with additional details about this virtual event as well as information regarding credits/refunds that result from this decision. All bookings for delegate and reversals made with Orbit, our travel provider, will be suspended until the new year.
