Festival Merchandise On Sale Now! The International Festival is a major component of the Triangle's cultural, artistic and creative offerings. The main stage hosts international and local dance groups. There are also food booths offering delicious cuisines from all over the globe. Visitors can also learn about other cultures through cultural booths.
In 1988, the Festival added a Naturalization Ceremony. This Ceremony is still the Festival's grand opening.
In October 1986, the Raleigh Convention Center hosted the first International Festival of Raleigh. It was initially a Sister Cities Association of Raleigh project. We had to cancel the 2020 Festival due to the pandemic. It would have been the 34th Annual Festival.
