AAPM is committed to its mission of advancing the science, education, and professional practice in medical physics. This is done by promoting the professional development and education of medical physicists through various meetings that are held throughout the calendar year.

The AAPM Annual Meeting & Exhibition, held in late summer or early august, attracts about 4,000 attendees to the largest scientific program on the planet. It includes professional and educational presentations as well as technical exhibits and programs for socializing.

The Spring Clinical Meeting is a practical meeting that provides information to medical physicists on how to integrate new technologies in the clinical setting, stay abreast of regulatory issues and accreditation requirements. It also offers a forum where ideas can be exchanged for practice quality improvement. Previously, it was known as the ACMP Annual Meeting.

The AAPM Summer School is a popular opportunity to study intensively the AAPM curriculum.The informal discussion of a broad medical physics subject in a non-formal setting provides a unique opportunity to build national networks. collegiality.
