In 2019, the amount of agricultural damage that wild animals and birds caused was 15.8 billion Japanese yen. Although it has been decreasing in recent years it remains high.

However, declining numbers of people who can catch birds and animals, and the aging population are serious issues that lead to the decline in rural areas.

It is important to continue making progress in capture technology with ICT and drones as well as intrusion prevention fencing and cameras.

This exhibition will provide information about wild birds and animal damage countermeasures to crops, capture techniques and the utilization of gibier after capture. It will also create opportunities for information exchange as well as business negotiations.
