Smock Alley Theatre is located in a quiet part of Dublin. It is a small building that sits on the banks the River Liffey. The Theatre Royal at Smock Alley was originally built in 1662. It hosted the performances of George Farquhar (\"The Recruiting Officer\"), Oliver Goldsmith (\"She Stoops to Conquer\") and Richard Brinsley Sheridan (\"The Rivals\") respectively. Each night 300 people visited the theatre to be entertained, entertained, and enlightened. The theatre, which was built 350 years ago, has been lovingly and carefully restored to be Dublin's Oldest Newest Theatre. It is now a vibrant hub for theatre, song and dance as well as art, creativity, and art.
