Helsingborg Arena, a multi-purpose arena is located in Helsingborg (Sweden). Helsingborg Arena's management is done by Helsingborg Events AB and Idrottspark AB. Helsingborg Arena was previously part of the municipal companies Helsingborg Arena AB and Scen AB. [3]
Plans for the new arena began in 2005. It was designed by the engineering consultancy company Sweco AB. The inauguration of the arena took place on 30 November 2012. The arena was funded by the Henry and Gerda Dunker Foundation, established by the late businessman and philanthropist Henry Dunker (1870–1962).[4]
Helsingborg Arena covers a total of 21,000 square metres and has a maximum ceiling height of 15 meters. It can hold a maximum 5,500 spectators for concerts, and 4,700 spectators for sporting events. [5]
