Sabaton announced that they would embark on \"The Great Swedish Tour\" at the end of 2021. This tour, which they called \"The Great Swedish Tour\", would be their largest and most extensive ever in Sweden. Tickets sold quickly. The band had been scheduled to tour Sweden in January/February 2022, but the pandemic forced them to postpone it to April. The band also added another show to their tour, bringing the total number of shows to 30. Rest of the European dates have been postponed until 2023.
Sabaton's 2022 studio album, THE WORLD TO END ALL WOARS, was released in March. They also released two DVD/Bluray sets: THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY SHOWS LIVE in WACKEN and THE GREAT SHOWLIVE IN PRAGUE. The band has been very productive during their pandemic-related break from touring. The WACKEN show was incredible. They took on two of the biggest stages and performed with former band members. It was amazing to see both the current and old lineups perform together on the same stage.
