Cracow University of Economics was founded in 1925 as the Higher Trade School. The university's name and profile have changed over the 89 years of experience and tradition, but one thing has remained constant: the quality of education. This has been supported by national rankings, and indexes. CUE is a prominent educational and research center that ranks among the top universities in Poland. It is made up of four faculties: Economics, International Relations, Finance and Commodity Science and Management.
Cracow University of Economics has close relationships and cooperation with more than 200 universities around the world, as well as many international organisations and institutions. International student exchange programs (Erasmus CEEPUS FSS, STEP Double Diploma, STEP, STEP, Double Diploma, and bilateral agreements) are actively supported by the University. These programmes allow students to study part of their studies at partner institutions while international students join Krakow's study programmes. CUE is a member in good standing of prestigious international organizations and networks such as NIBES and EBC.
