Muzeum Sztuki i Techniki Japońskiej Manggha

The Imaginary of Nature. From the Japanese Collection of Feliks “Manggha” Jasieński. This website uses cookies.

The exhibition is the largest of its kind in the West and includes a cross-section of Watanabe Sidei's work. It features kacho-ga (pictures of flowers and birds) as well as stunning landscapes and genre scenes. It also contains Seitei's work from Feliks \"Manggha\" Jasienski's collection.

This exhibition features selected items from Feliks Jasienski's Japanese collection - paintings and lacquerware as well as ceramics and bronze wares. The dominant theme is broad nature, with most depictions of birds and flowers.

Our museum is visited almost every day by students and pupils. They visit to see our current exhibits and to participate in extra activities. We also have educational exhibits for the youngest age groups.
