Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic in Gdansk (full name in Polish: Polska Filharmonia Baltycka im. Fryderyka Chopina w Gdansku is a concert hall in Olowianka (Gdansk).

Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic was established in 1945 as Gdansk Symphony Orchestra. September 29th, 1945 was the date of the inaugural concert in Sopot. It changed its name to Polish Baltic Philharmonic in 1949. It was merged with the opera department in 1953 and transformed into Polish Baltic Opera and Philharmonic. Baltic Philharmonic, which was formed in 1974 as a new symphony orchestra, became independent Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic (in 1993). [1]

Roman Perucki is the artistic director at the Polish Baltic F. Chopin Philharmonic, Gdansk. He is an internationally renowned organ virtuoso and has won numerous prizes. He is a performer all over the globe and is the founder of the International Organ Music Festival at Oliwa Cathedral in Poland, which is the oldest of its kind.

Kai Bumann was appointed the F. Chopin Baltic Philharmonic's new artistic director in September 2008. Born in Berlin, he was the previous artistic director of Krakow Opera's 1997/1998 season. [2]

This building houses the Baltic Philharmonic Hall. It was built in 1897-1898 to serve as a power station and has a neoGothic façade. [3]

The Polish Baltic Philharmonic's seat is a complex made up of buildings from the former plant in the late nineteenth century. It is located on the island Olowianka, Gdansk. It was converted into a concert hall between 1996 and 2005 after the plant was shut down in 1996.
