Activities for future students. Universitat Pompeu Fabra. The proposal presented by ZGF Architects, MIRAG and Double Twist studios is the competition winner for the UPF and IBE buildings at the Mercat del Peix site. “Without dialogue between all parties and without empathy, major transformations cannot be achieved”.
The winning entry was chosen by the jury of the architectural competition at Mercat del Peix for the UPF (and Institute of Evolutionary Biology) buildings. It is the entry of the ZGF Architects team from California and Double Twist from Barcelona.
Adrian Jofre Bosch is a UPF Economics Alumni and partner. He is also president of beBartlet. Forbes Espana listed him as one of the 100 most creative people working in business in 2022.
UPF has launched a website that combines relevant information on the war with opinions articles and solidarity initiatives from the community.
The digital magazine's autumn issue offers a detailed look at recent initiatives like La Benvinguda or the launch of UPF Alumni international chapters. The magazine also features opinion articles and an interview about the future and present challenges of biology and the urgent changes required to end the climate crisis.
