This large courtyard is located within Cibeles Palace. It is home to Madrid City Hall.
This gallery covers an area of 2,800m2. It is enclosed by a glass structure of over 2,000 glass triangles at 30m high. It was originally part of the Buen Retiro Palace area in the 17th century. Later, the gallery housed a recreational park. It was a loading passage and yard that became part of Comunicaciones Palace in the 20th century. After its renovation and restoration, it has become an integral part of Madrid City Hall.
The space is accessible to the public seven days a week and features underfloor heating and air conditioning.
